Jim Murray is the President and Founder of The Murray Group Insurance Services, Inc. (TMG).
With his many years of insurance experience, Jim has proven himself to be a strong advocate for his clients and a trusted resource.
Jim’s career began in ‘72, and in 1974 he started his own agency, then called The Guilderland Agency, which is now known as The Murray Group Insurance Services, Inc.
Jim believes firmly that:
“…the agency’s success is directly related to the relationships his staff forms with the clients.”
He has instilled in his staff the belief that “the client comes first”.
Jim is an Albany, NY native where he attended Vincentian Institute. He then went on to graduate from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. He has been involved in many charitable organizations, including Susan G. Komen and the American Heart Association.
Jim Murray is a Vincentian Institute Hall of Fame inductee and was actively involved in his children’s athletics. He is proud that TMG is a true family business – all three of his children work at TMG.
