On this week’s Mortgage Monday video show, hosts Jim Cardinal and Alexis Meeks discuss the Federal government’s new homeowner refinance program called HARP 2.0. Jim describes HARP 2.0 as a great program for homeowners, where loans are held by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or FHA.
HARP 2.0 Refinance
Essentially, HARP 2.0 allows homeowners to take advantage of low refinancing rates even if they do not have great credit or their home mortgage is “under water.” Jim Cardinal is one of the few mortgage brokers in the area who has done research on HARP 2.0 and is comfortable writing this type of refinance.
