National Preparedness Month 2012 has me asking questions…
Are you prepared for the next Hurricane Irene?
What about the blizzard we got throughout Albany and the entire Northeast in October of 1987 that shut down entire communities for weeks?
No power…
No water…
Snowmobiles and four wheelers became our primary mode of transportation.
Are you prepared for a weather catastrophe?
Paul Caiano can let you know bad weather is coming but if you don’t know how to prepare or you have never previously prepared for bad weather you can run into trouble.
National Preparedness Month 2012
Luckily there are resources to help you prepare for a catastrophe or severe weather.
September is National Preparedness Month and all of us at The Murray Group want you to be aware of fantastic resource that can help you prepare:
Ready.Gov is resource created by FEMA to help families prepare for catastrophes and severe weather. As we get deeper into the Fall and eventually Winter staying on top of weather related news is very important (See Paul Caiano from News Channel 13 above).
Winter in the Northeast is not easy…
The Murray Group is here to help you with your insurance preparedness. We can help make you financially whole after a storm…
But practicing proper preparedness techniques like the ones outlined at Ready.Gov can help mitigate the damage in the first place.
Remember, the best insurance policy is the insurance policy you never have to use.
If you have questions about how Insurance can help you prepare call The Murray Group at (518) 456-6688.
Thank you,
Ryan Hanley
