In 2019, we added a couple of members to our staff. And we changed a few roles. In the upcoming months, we will feature a staff member in each post so you can get to know your account manager.

We’ll start by introducing (or re-introducing) the Murray family to start…

Jim Murray, President

Jim started The Murray Group in 1974, and he is proud to have developed it into a lasting family business. His passion has always lied in speaking with clients and making sure they and their families are properly protected in the case of a catastrophe.

Jim’s wife is Debbie, his children are Bridget and Lauren, and he is a grandfather to 6!

Lauren Murray, Personal Lines Manager

If you are a personal lines (home and auto) client, there is a very good chance Lauren is familiar with your file. She rates each and every new client that comes into The Murray Group and has been doing so for over a decade. She makes sure our clients are getting superior coverage at the most competitive price available.

Lauren is a mother to two boys and married to another local business owner.

And then there’s me. I am responsible for the overall operations of the business and for building external relationships with clients and referral partners. I am also heavily involved with the commercial lines group.
